Hiya Peeps,
Am I the only woman out here not feelin men in skinny jeans? I personally do not like men in tight clothing full stop. This includes bikini briefs, muscle tee’s which all get an enthusiastic thumbs down, from me. So when I meet a man who is interested in getting to know me on a deeper level; but I can already see his underwear and his boy parts clearly evident in the front of his jeans I really just want to laugh rather than date this individual.
This look is for Teens only |
I really think some fashion statements need to stay on the catwalk. This look seems to forgo a belt and be slightly more roomy in the crotch area and like drain pipes on the legs which results in the dude in question looking like he has on a pamper especially if he is carrying a few extra pounds.
I understand that gender roles constantly evolve hopefully moving us as a society towards true equality and partnership between sexes. However, when did men think that we wanted them to dress like us? Which got me to thinking about how so many of the men I run into lately act like queens. They simply do not embody the Masculine energy that makes women go nuts. I love it when I get butterflies in my tummy from being around a man who exudes Maculinity and confidence.
They don't make em' like Method Man no more. Damn! |
I recently attended a social event with a plethora of men present, and you know what? Not once did I feel a stirring in my lady parts because all I witnessed all night were...
- Men performing their choreographed dance all night in the middle of the club like? Women
- Men going to the bar/ bathroom together in a groups?
- Men driving off at the end of the night with a truck load of other dudes?
Am I the only one to notice the increased metrosexuality in the city?

Coco,
ReplyDeleteWhile I do not like to see men with their pants sagging and their behinds exposed, I am not a fan of men in skinny jeans either. There is something very strange to me aobut a man in pants that are designed to accentuate..."things."
Back in the 90's when I was in college, I used to love to go clubbing because it was an opportunity for my friends and I dress in pretty heels and dresses and check out the cuties dressed in slacks, dress shirts and hard-bottom shoes, in other words gals and guys looked their best in my day.
I miss the days when people dressed appropriately instead of throwing on a pair of jeans and sneakers and calling it a day.
Times have really changed and the men in skinny jeans phase is one fashion faux pas I wish would quickly go away!
