How Young is too Young?

Hiya Peeps,

I was told last night by a very special person that young men are en vogue. Whenever I see a significant age difference (10 years plus) between a man and a woman in a relationship where the woman is the older partner I can’t help thinking what a lot of work. I know these thoughts reek of ageism but as I mature It’s really hard for me to rationalise why any woman would want to put forth the additional effort this sort of relationship will inevitably require.

As they age I’m guessing that she must feel increasing pressure to keep that body tight and the clothes trendy yet tasteful.  I remember seeing Usher and Tomika for the first time and I couldn’t help thinking that She is a beautiful woman; but standing next to him, she looks like his aunt.  Had she been on the arm of say...Blair Underwood or Morris Chestnut she would have just been beautiful, don’t you think?

Of course there are always exceptions to the rule remember the ‘You Got it Bad’ music video where  Usher and Chilli showcased their love to the world. Even though she is quite a bit older than him together they looked like they matched actually I thought she was a bit hotter than him. Just the way I like it. (Wow Usher really is the grown woman’s boy toy)

Alas I fear with a man more than 10 years my junior would require an awful lot of love and support to enable him the freedom of personal growth without guilt.  What about starting a family does your partner forgo the choice of having children (think Ashton and Demi).  Or do you start knocking em out like a woman on death row ala Mariah Carey and risk fatherhood before he is truly ready? Then there’s the money I really do not want to pay for everything. I’m not bothered about fancy stuff but I would like to live in a home that both parties can contribute to.  Go on holidays, and not feel bad about it. But i'm not going to lie even I enjoyed Vivica Fox and 50 Cent saga.

I am forced to admit the younger man has plenty to offer. Let’s face it a good guy, is a good guy at any age.
